Wealth Wars

what are Just wars? why do u think states go to war?
I mean do states go to war with one another solely for the reason of accumulating more territories and wealth for themselves?
I don’t know about states, but countries go to war for various reasons.
Many years ago countries conquered nations and took them over forming empires. Rome was the largest at one time and owned most of the world at their peak.
I think a Just War would be one waged to free people from oppression without any monetary gain or conquest of land. Like the Iraq war, for example, a war to stop the advancement of terrorism in the middle east.
Note that US wars are funded by congress, so they cannot be waged without full support from both parties. I’m not sure why some still say Bush lied when there’s no evidence of such. I guess ignorance has no bounds.
WWII was won to stop Hitler, so that would be a Just War. Actually even Vietnam was a Just War, but the media lied about the success and got us to pull out before it was completely won. This resulted in the slaughter of millions of innocent people.
I’m sure there are other examples. Do a search and read as much as you can on past wars to get a feel for the difference between conquests for accumulating land and freeing people without occupying their land.
