I was wondering what people thought was a reasonable budget for an engagement ring? Boyfriend wants to get the best for his money, but we are both confused on what a reasonable budget is? We are going shopping together today as he wants me to pick my engagement ring. I honestly want a 1.5 carat and he thinks that reasonable, but I feel somewhat quality. Does anyone have any advice? I earn decent money, and have money saved up, but realize that I could be doing better financially if I was a little more disciplined, and stopped buying things on impulse or wasting money on things I dont really need(ex. daily Starbucks).
